Rockland Dentist in Tappan will be running on October 9th to raise money and awareness for Multiple Myeloma,  the second-most common blood cancer and is incurrable. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. This cause is extremely personal to our office because our dental hygienist Shira, and our associate Dr. Mann, lost their mother/wife to this disease in 2014. Dr. Rosenfeld's brother-in-law is currently undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma. We have many more family members, patients, and friends that are directly affected by this cancer.

As the world's number-one private funder of multiple myeloma research , the MMRF has raised over $300 million since its inception and directs nearly 90% of total budget to research and related programming. As a result, the MMRF has been awarded Charity Navigator's coveted four-star rating, the highest designation for outstanding fiscal responsibility and exceptional efficiency.
